About These Terms

 

These Terms of Sale set out the conditions that apply to the purchase of artworks.

Prices

 

The price of each artwork is shown on its individual page. All prices include tax. Shipping, customs duties, import taxes, and other fees may apply separately.

Payment

Available payment methods and payment timing are shown on the purchase page after clicking “Collect". For purchases involving multiple artworks, higher-priced works, international orders, or other arrangements requiring individual assistance, please contact us through the Contact page before purchasing.

Shipping Fees and Dispatch

Shipping fees vary depending on the destination and the artwork. The final shipping fee will be displayed on the purchase page or provided separately. Artworks are normally dispatched within one week after payment has been confirmed. Additional time may be required for works currently on exhibition, works requiring special packing, international shipments, or other individual arrangements.

Packing and Damage in Transit

 

Packing materials and methods are selected according to the shape, materials, and delicate elements of each artwork. All shipments are sent using a trackable delivery method. Shipping insurance is included where available for both domestic and international deliveries. If an artwork is damaged in transit, please retain the artwork, outer box, packing materials, and shipping label, and contact us promptly after delivery with photographs. After reviewing the circumstances, we will advise you on an appropriate response, which may include restoration, a refund, or another suitable solution.

Returns and Cancellations

 

As each artwork is one of a kind, cancellations, returns, and exchanges due to a change of mind are generally not accepted once an order has been confirmed. Please contact us promptly after delivery if you receive the wrong artwork, if the artwork has sustained significant damage in transit, or if its condition differs substantially from the information provided.

One-of-a-Kind Works and Duplicate Orders

 

All artworks are one of a kind. If orders for the same artwork are received simultaneously through different sales channels, priority will be given to the order whose payment or confirmation was completed first. If an order is placed for an artwork that has already been sold, the order will be cancelled or refunded promptly.

International Shipping, Duties and Taxes

 

International shipping is available. Eligible destinations, shipping methods, and fees vary depending on the artwork and destination. Customs duties, import taxes, customs-clearance fees, and any other charges imposed in the destination country are generally the responsibility of the purchaser.

Color and Dimensions

 

Artwork photographs are adjusted to represent the original work as accurately as possible. However, color and brightness may appear differently depending on the viewer’s screen and settings.As each artwork is handmade and measured by hand, slight variations may occur in the stated dimensions.

Stands and Accessories

 

Stands, display equipment, chairs, and other items used for photography are not included with the artwork unless they are expressly described as included.

Certificate of Authenticity

​

The artwork page indicates whether a Certificate of Authenticity is included. Since April 2026, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with newly sold artworks priced at ¥50,000 or more. For artworks priced at ¥50,000 or more and sold before the introduction of this system, a Certificate of Authenticity may be issued upon request by the purchaser for an issuance fee.

Ownership and Copyright

​

The purchase of an artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork to the purchaser. Copyright, reproduction rights, merchandising rights, and other intellectual-property rights are not transferred through the purchase of the artwork.
